Elementary Band in Lansingburgh
It is the philosophy of the school to allow every child the opportunity to play an instrument, provided there is sufficient teaching time available. Every effort will be made to allow the child to play the instrument of his/her choice. The instructor will reserve the right to advise students against playing the instrument of their choice if they are physically unsuited to play that instrument or if there are too many students signed up for certain instruments.
Lessons will be offered on the following instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, bass clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, and percussion (snare drum and bells). If interest is generated, other instruments will be added.
